Curiosities from the Mediterranean...maybe vermetia or siliquaria? - Emma - 01-31-2013

Hello again!

Here are some pieces I picked up on Cambrils beach (Tarragona area of Spain) on the 24-4-2012. There weren't any special conditions; it was just an afternoon I happened to be in the area. I have an incling that they might be examples of fusions of barnacles, vermetia and siliquaria, but other than that I have no idea how to classify them. Could somebody please help me?

Thanks!

Emma. Smile
