Identification Help - haley_nicole - 06-22-2012 I need some help in identifying (if possible) some of these shells I collected on the NW coast of Florida last week. If one or more is unidentifiable, please tell me. I understand that their condition is poor, but I just want to know for myself what kind of shell each is. Thanks! Upper right is a Florida fighting conch, Strombus alatus. Lower right is probably another fighting conch, but too worn to be certain. Likewise for lower left. Re: Identification Help - haley_nicole - 06-23-2012 Thank you so much, Paul! Haley |
