Strombidae sp. - diocrisseashells1000 - 04-15-2012

Hi,
This strombidae is from Philippines,63.5mm. in size, It looks like a S.aurisdianae except it doesnt have any "fingerlike"projection but have a thin lip,. it might be an immature specie but here in the Philippines the 63mm size of aurisdianae is already full adult,
I hope someone could help me to determine this shell

Many thanks.

Yes, it's an immature aurisdianae.  You can't judge maturity by size.  I have seen fully mature specimens 50-55 mm, and immature specimens 60-65 mm and larger.

I agree with Paul, immature aurisdianae.
