exchange cypraeas - arkturus - 02-21-2009 Hello All: I collect mostly deep water shells and I am looking for some of them, for some specific general shells and for information. I have very diverse shells but mostly cypraeas from common to very rare in exchange. Does anybody has information or specially specimens from the next; vesicomyidae bathymodioline mussels provannidae (or any genera from the louisiana cold seep) fulgoraria smithi (any information on these) papustyla/papuina pulcherrima cristaria plicata herculea etc... I am not very concerned about the condition of them as I know some of them are never found in good conditions, I have a somewhat scientific-oriented collection. I am trying to focuse it to species from reducing enviroments as those which came from organic remains (whale falls, sunken wood), cold seeps and hydrothermal vents. Well, anybody interested in exchanging specimens, information or just talking is welcomed. Any help with information on the species is very appreciated. Regards, Juan-Francisco.
