Can't find any synonyms, taxonomic data for that. According to our local vernacular name it could be same as Mimachlamys varia, but that is pure wild guess.

Any clarification is better than nothing.

is a black coloured flexopeten glaber (linne',178). recently the flexopecten proteus , which was considered different specie for several years, fallen in synonyms with the above pecten
the mimachlamys varia is different specie.
