Small & tough gastropods identification - conchylinet - 09-24-2011

Good day
I have these small gastropods from a rocky area in Mauritius. They are very small and I could not identify them. Any help is welcome, the pictures are below.

A. that one is 6mm and looks like a Trochidae.

B. this one is 5mm

C. this one is 7mm

D. that one is huge  Big Grin about 15mm !

Pierre,

The last shell seems to belong to the Columbellidae family, by the shape of the mouth. I wish I could help more!

D. looks like Mitra (Nebularia) cucumerina.
B. is probably a species of Rissoidae, but I can't go beyond that.

Hello Pierre,

C.  Is  Philbertia (Pseudodaphnella) granicostata.  Reeve L.A., 1846. It was once part of the TURRIDAE family but now separately put in RAPHITOMIDAE family.
