Trochidae or not ? - diocrisseashells1000 - 09-06-2011 Hello collectors,            I am uncertain if this are trochidae species. Re: Trochidae or not ? - paul monfils - 09-07-2011 The shells in the first set are all Herpetopoma species, which were formally placed in Trochidae, but are now I believe in Chilodontidae. I believe the first 4 pictures are all H. instrictum, and the last two are H. exasperatum. I believe the shell in the second set is Hybochelus cancellatus, which is also in Chilodontidae.
