Hello - Anything worth nothing here? - MontanaDan - 02-04-2018

Hello all -

I have recently received a few boxes and bins of shells - I want them to to go t a good home but don't want to be taken and am happy to work with your community - here is a pic of what stood out - there Is a watch for scale and I can take pictures of the more common stuff.

Please let me know your thoughts and if anything stands out or you can help get me in the right direction.

Hello MontanaDan,
I think it could be helpful to number the shells.
Kind regards: wolf

These are all ""commercial grade" shells, typical of those sold by the bagful in tourist shops, etc., as opposed to "specimen grade" shells desired by serious collectors. The glossy shell at the lower right, a gray bonnet, might be specimen grade, if the underside is in as good condition as the top. It is a common species, and would be worth only a few dollars even in perfect condition.
