Conus (Leptoconus) locumtenens: Conoidea: Conidae - JackSullivan - 08-06-2017
From a European seller, set of 3 specimens of this species collected in the Red Sea, Yemen. 30.8-35 mm. Sold as Conus acuminatus.
Black areas likely eumelanin, yellow areas likely pheomelanin which can range in color from red to yellow.
