I need help - jason123 - 11-07-2015

I have had this shell in my collection for a while. The person who sent it to me lives in the Philippines but they have sent me shells from all over the world in the past. The shell is extremely small only about 2-3mm in length and about 1 wide.

Hi Jason,

This is Cycloscala revoluta (Hedley, 1899), in the family Epitoniidae. Quite a rare find. The shell itself is white and very thin. Yours looks brown because the soft parts are dried inside the shell. It does come from the Philippines.
