Cowrie - probably from W. Pacific - sdsheller - 02-22-2015
I have a neighbor who gave me quite a lot of cowries, collected or acquired by her dad in the W. Pacific (possibly elsewhere) in the 1940s. This is one of them. It is 50 mm long. Any help with ID would be much appreciated! Thanks.
