unkown bivalve - caroletho - 02-07-2011 Hello, I've found this shell a few years ago in France and I really can't identify it. Can you help me please? http://www.badongo.com/pic/11639679 Re: unkown bivalve - dave r - 02-07-2011 It is a very worn, broken fragment of something, but in this condition it is almost impossible to identify. I would hazard a guess at a Cockle of some kind. Dave Re: unkown bivalve - caroletho - 02-07-2011 thank you Dave Re: unkown bivalve - dave r - 02-08-2011 You are welcome, sorry I could not be more helpful. Dave Re: unkown bivalve - caroletho - 02-08-2011 No, you were very helpfull in fact. I've spent loooong hours on internet to identify this shell and I was desperate when I wrote this post!
