Identification - Abdul Azeez Abdul Hakeem - 07-17-2014 Please identify this shell. Measurements are in cm RE: Identification - paul monfils - 07-17-2014 This looks like a Coralliophila, but I can't name the species with certainty. It could be a large, slightly worn specimen of C. costularis. I have seen some that looked similar to this. http://www.conchology.be/?t=68&u=354787&g=96b6fb9814470db1b7e0c145f7c74f60&q=287ce1d1ac12730cc4edb1c503a5268f]http://www.conchology.be/?t=68&u=354787&g=96b6fb9814470db1b7e0c145f7c74f60&q=287ce1d1ac12730cc4edb1c503a5268f Another possibility is Coralliophila turrita, an uncommon species with little data available. Your shell looks like this one: http://vwargnier.free.fr/Pages2/512.htm but not like this one, which is supposedly the same species: http://www.conchology.be/?t=68&u=494383&g=63eca5c5a3b3e0ede10fef63c9d65b4b&q=d4a441a238e32f6393772c80889464e6]http://www.conchology.be/?t=68&u=494383&g=63eca5c5a3b3e0ede10fef63c9d65b4b&q=d4a441a238e32f6393772c80889464e6 .
