I believe this subspecies is called either zeylanica or iredalei.  I am not certain whether these two names are synonyms, and if so, which one is currently in use. Re: Shell! but witch? - helmetapointe - 12-27-2010 It is Semicassis (Semicassis) labiata subspecie zeylanica (LAMARCK, 1822) Cape Province to Natal, South Africa. " iredalei " is forma of zeylanica. With smoother shoulders and more elongate, lighter and usually smaller. Re: Shell! but witch? - jordyvanderbeek - 12-27-2010 Thanks ;D ;D ;D |
