Conus from Mauritius - conchylinet - 11-02-2010

Hello,
I have these two cones from Mauritius (Western Indian Ocean).
Any help to identify them would be welcome.

Upper cone (39mm) may be Conus distans juvenile, and the bottom is likely Conus distans chinoi juvenile such as conchology.be: [Image: 233468.jpg]

I do agree with bottom one, I am not sure the top one is a distans aswell.

The top one looks more like moreleti to me.

The top one is Conus moreleti. The one on the bottom is a juvenile Conus distans. Such a juveile was described as Conus chinoi.
