Hi. I usually pack mine by individually wrapping each shell in bubble wrap, these are then put into a strong cardboard box and surrounded by polystyrene chippings (known as 'Peanuts' or Flo-Pak). Small shells are usually packed in small boxes between layers of cotton wool then again into larger boxes with the chippings. I have sent many consignments like this with no breakages (so far!)I find another advantage of this method is the bubble wrap and chippings are very lightweight and save a lot on postage.
Hope this has helped.
