Hi,is this conus an "albino" spec.? Have problem with ID. Locality: Gulf of Mannar,south east india. Size: 90mm <img src="http://s2.noelshack.com/uploads/images/11344529963547_conus_copy.jpg" alt="http://s2.noelshack.com/uploads/images/11344529963547_conus_copy.jpg" style="border:0" />
This is Conus subfloridus da Motta, which is considered to be a form of Conus striatus.  It is from deeper water than typical C. striatus, and the locality you provided is the usual locality for this form.
