1. immature Vexillum, probably Vexillum plicarium

2. Planaxis sulcatus

3. Looks like a Nassarius, can't place it.

4. I wish I knew! This is an extremely common shell that you can find by the hundreds in mixed craft shells, but I have not been able to find it in any book in my library. Once I stumbled upon a picture of it online - incorrectly labeled Nassaria pusilla. I'm beginning to wonder if it has a name!

5. Nassarius albescens

6. Probably Tricolia solida, or one of the several other Tricolia species.

7. Looks like Metula inflata, somewhat worn.

8. Jujubinus sp. or Cantharidus sp.
many tears .. five or six years that I have the number four i have not ever managed to not even get close to gender, life is so
I thought the number 8 on a small piece Jujubinus but if it says you need to renew my search was the solid Tricoli I still have my first option regarding a previous wing Identification monilea callifera having it still not very clear
Nr.3 doesn't look like a Nassarius, but rather like a species of the Pyramidellidae family. --Last edited by mikede on 2010-03-07 13:21:05 --
out. refers to the shell
n.-3 MILDA VENTRICOSA
#4 looks like a Ranellidae. Perhaps some kind of Cymatium sp.
