There are image hosting websites that offer space to save photos and provide the HTML code for insertion into posts on forum websites. A good free one is Photobucket.com. Â There are many others to choose from.
Select the image hosting service you like and upload your photos. Â Now, using the codes the service provides (usually the "IMG" code), you then embed it within your post by following these steps:
a. Â If you want the image to be the first thing in the post, start with step b. Â Otherwise, start typing the text for your post. Â
b. Â When you get to the place where you want to insert an image, open a separate window to your image hosting website and go to the image you wish to insert.
c. Â Determine which code is the one for placing the image in a forum post. (The image hosting website should explain this - they're all different. Â For Photobucket it is the code in the "IMG" box.) Â
d. Â Copy the code.
e. Â Go back to the post you are preparing.
f. Â Paste in the code.
g. Â Continue typing your text or, if there is a second image, just repeat the process. Â
h. Â Repeat the process each time you want to embed an image. Â
If this procedure does not work or you do not like the appearance of your post, use the edit function (<img src="http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l110/olram9/Miscellaneous/edit.gif" alt="http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l110/olram9/Miscellaneous/edit.gif" style="border:0" />) to go back in and try again. Â Don't be bashful. Experiment. You can always immediately use the <img src="http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l110/olram9/Miscellaneous/edit.gif" alt="http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l110/olram9/Miscellaneous/edit.gif" style="border:0" /> function and delete or change any post content that you wish.
