Hi Hexo, it looks more like a member of the family Fasciolariidae to me, maybe F. lignaria. Check out this website.

Hello, I found a live sea snail, swimming in the mediterranean at the Xábias coast (Spain). I need your help to identify this beautiful animal.

A friend of mine suggested that it should be from the Muricidae family. Is it correct?

Yes, definitely Fasciolaria lignaria.  The bright red color of the soft parts is as diagnostic as the shell.
