Does anyone here have a specimen similar to this one? This is a tigris pardalis, or so I've been told. Is it? But I have never seen any other pardalis like it.

And such a beauty at its size of 104mm, glossy and very rotund, fully spotted. Just want to see if this shell I have is "special" in some ways.  Wink If not I'll let it go. How big can they go? I've seen in one reference site only upto 100mm.

thanks guys.
Hello shellhunk!

Good day!

I think it's a Cypraea tigris f. pardalis.. The size is very nice. But in my opinion maybe the size can reach up to 130mm as what a Cypraea tigris reached.
Here is my could be cyp. tigris pardalis f.

Hi shellhunk!

You are always welcome! Yes, if I have that size of cyp. tigris pardalis, I will not let it go too, hahaha.. very hard to find that size and that very nice condition and pattern! =D  My specimen is only 73mm very common in this size..

Cheers! =D

Happy shelling!

Hoping you will have lots of very nice and interesting shells in the future! =D
