I have collected a couple hundred, perhaps thousand shells from Laguna Beach California.

All are collected 'dead' however the shells I have for trade are still in very good condition as I have collected so many and am very picky.  Many are collected while snorkeling after large storms, so are in just as good of shape as a live shell.

Pretty much if the shell is available in Laguna Beach, then I have it for trade.  There are even some cypraea - small with wrinkled skin, we call them coffiebeans, that are not available anywhere to identify on the internet.

The images are large, so you probably have to click on them to zoom in.
