The addition of 3 specimens of Conus catus adds a new species to my collection. At the same time it brings out an interesting observation that this species appears to have a wide divergence of pigmentation & pigmentation patterns. This shell, from Madagascar, is nearly albinistic when compared to the others. Contrast this to the 2 others to follow tonight. All 3 from the same French dealer who sold me my recent Conus gauguini acquisition.
