I am not sure what this is I found it in a drawer with no ID. Sad

about 62mm in length
I beleve this is Conus lynceus, in spite of the fact that C. lynceus usually has a fairly high spire, and this shell has a rather low spire. The only other possibility is Conus inscriptus, form maculospira.
