Hello Collectors
I got these shells from my grandmother over 40 years ago. She told me a fantastical story about them that I now know was a wonderfully detailed adventure for me...but just a story. I would like to know if anyone could identify them for me or point me in a direction to find out more. Much appreciation.

Hi Karen,
should be the caribbean species Nerita peloronta (Neritidae), as far as I can see. Perhaps someone from the US can confirm this.

Yes these are Nerita peloronta. Common name is "bleeding tooth nerite" for obvious reason.
