A friend of mine in Yucatan, Mexico and sent me a conch picture.  He thinks it is a Queen Conch, Strombus gigas, but I think it might be a Florida Fighting Conch Strombus alatus. Can somebody confirm the ID, and explain how to tell the difference?  Thanks for any help!

This is a juvenile shell, and is too large to be a juvenile Strombus alatus. It is either Strombus gigas or Strombus costatus.
