I have a collection of very attractive cypraea shells (just the larger types for me) but I want to know more about them as a living animal. Their biology.. how they live.. their habitats.. predators.. differences between the species. I'm hoping someone can recommend a book I can buy that covers those kindof things. I'm not as interested in seeing lists of every single cowrie there is but about the cowries as living creatures. I've found 2 books; A Guide to Worldwide Cowries and The Living Cowries. Is there anyone who has these books and can recommend what I should buy or a different book? Thankyou to anyone who replies. Hi Shelley. No, I think that is about as good as shell books get about cowries. Are you going to the shell convention at Theydon Bois on May the 3rd? You may pick somethig up there.
Cheers,
Dave
